I wanted to see if someone has a better time interpreting SMART data than I do. These are from WD Disk diagnostic tool using the extended test (a few hours). IT's an ATA drive. I am about to quick format and clean install Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1

PC has been really lagging. I replaced old HDD with this one. System Specs in Profile. I am albeit not well versed in SMART DATA.

Your drive looks to be in fine shape, going by those results. :) I see no values that are anywhere close to being worrisome.

Hello b89!

Your SMART data of the WD drive does look perfectly fine. If there is any problem you will see warning signs or the SMART test will show up as “Fail”. Sometimes PC lags are caused by an almost full drive or a too fragmented one. Make sure you have backups and try cleaning it, defragging it and clearing out some space if it's too full. Check for viruses and malware, too. If these don't help, perhaps the issue is in another part of the system. :/

Cheers!
