my windows 7 keeps deleting my old system restore point that i've manually created everytime there's an auto restore point being made... for example I have installed/uninstall/update a software, then poof there's an auto restore created and my old restore point gone...

is it possible to turn off the auto restore, while leaving my created restore point still intact?
or is there any possible way to save my windows 7 current state without the silly system restore?

Is it actually deleting old restore points? Check your System Restore panel for "other restore points" other than the one that is shown (which is just the last restore point).

If it is really deleting old points, increase the disc space set for restore points so that you have more than just the most recent.
