I am using windows 7 professorial for my clients . Usually this PCs are connected to Tv Screen that play some media contents .

this media needs to be run under 1920x1080 resolution .

sometime we my customer turn off the TV , or unplug the cable it reset the resolution to default like 1280x720

my question is : Is there any way to "lock" the screen resolution at 1920 x 1080 and not leave this up to Windows ???????

thanks in advanced for your help

I don't believe you are having a Window 7 problem. I have two desktops hook to one 40 in. T.V. Each computer has a different resolution set in Windows 7. Both stay where I set them. The only thing I can think of is when you select your setting you are not selecting saving the settings. Or you have another program installed that is changing them.
