Hello. A long time ago I had a MSI x320, which was a 13" netbook that I got for $300 or so from Staples
It was actually pretty awesome, as it did everything I needed but had a decent sized keyboard.
The problem is the GMA 500. The drivers were shit and so it wasn't as powerful as Intel claimed it to be.
So i filed a complaint with the BBB, and Intel offered to refund me the full amount.
Worst mistake I ever made.
So I've been trying to find a similar laptop for a while (cheap Netbook with a big screen), and the only one i could find was this: 13" Ultra SlimNetbook Intel Atom N450 1GB on eBay.ca.
It appears to be based off of the MSI X-series, but the chipset does not match any existing products and the bottom looks different from the x320 and x340. what it uses is a newer Atom with an intergrated GPU.
My question is: would this be a good buy or the beginning of a load of pain?
I was perfectly happy with the X320 build, but would something like this be poorly made and fall apart?
thanks.
