I tried converting a mkv video file and my computer froze fairly quickly. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Here is the dump info:

Bug check 124 is hardware. we need the actual DMP file to be of much help but you can read about it here. http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/35349-stop-0x124-what-means-what-try.html

To find your dmp file

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the appropriate section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

Let us know if you need further assistance

Thanks for replying guys. I had to added a tad more voltage to my i7 930 OC and I was good to go. 10 Hours + small data set test with hyperthreading on via OCCT 3.1.0 and the conversion is now trotting along well. I needed to go from 1.30v to 1.3250.
