Because i checked windows version it's 7600 which is same as RTM.

yes my version is 7600 and i got mine through the action pack program...i phoned them to check and build 7600 is definatley the final release

Actually the build number should be 7600.16385 ... there are many different 7600 builds that were released....

If you are getting it through TechNet, then you are using the RTM version.

What part of "YES it is the Final" don't you understand??
The MSDN version and Technet Version are exactly the same as what will be on sale come 22nd October...apart from the retail packaging.

Forget terms like RTM etc....that build is THE FINAL BUILD.

I think maybe you're confusing the term RTM with RC or something. RTM means Release To Manufacturing. That means it's the final build of Windows 7. Build 7600 is the finalized build. RTM is just a term which means it's finalized, they're not going to have the term RTM stated on the Technet or MSDN page, or the build number 7600, in your screenshot there.

If you're seeing that from MSDN, or Technet, that is the finalized Windows 7. The one that's going to be sold to the public.

YES. The SHA1 codes match.

If you're downloading that from MSDN directly that's the final version. RTM was "Released to Manufacturing." And turning up on MSDN was part of what it released to. And what shows up on shelves in a couple weeks is what's been "manufactured" after it was "released to manufacturing."
