Solved Is this nice for a beginner system build with lots of horsepower?

This is a Budgetbuild!
Have a budget of about 8000Kr (about 1300$)

The system:

Case: Zalman Z11 Plus Black
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 EXTREME4, ATX
CPU: Intel core i5 3570K 3,4Ghz (ivy Bridge)
PSU: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Modular
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD7950 3072MB Windforce
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm SATA 6Gbit/s
RAM: Patriot 8GB DDR3 2400MHz Viper DIV2
Aftermarket cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

! NOT GOING TO OVERCLOCK !

Mostly going to do gaming. some video rendering and recording. but thats not that big of a deal.
The thing i Mostly whant is lot of Fps with lot of quality.
I'm the sort of guy that takes Quality instead fps. but theres a limit. I hate lag. A LOT. so it usally is beeing fps instead of quality. that takes the fun from the game almost...

Yep, that should be able to handle any game you throw at it... beginner you say? That's better than what I currently run! Yep, that's a nice rig.

I take it that the RAM is 2X4GB. DDR3-2400 may be a waste, but not a major one.

If your budget can stand it, I suggest adding a 120GB or larger SSD to run the OS and applications. (Larger if you want to run games from it.) There are a number of good 120GB SSDs that can be had in the US for less than $100.

And, of course, a larger heat sink & fan (or a closed loop liquid system) for the CPU so you can overclock the heck out of the 3570k. It'd be a shame to buy a k suffix CPU and not OC it.

I did stay away from ssd's becouse of the prize, worthness, the way they do "burn" out after a certain amount of overwrites. I do really enyoy if you could help out with the ssd i could possibly use and still not blow the budget. Like change the ram to 1600 or higher. Dont need more than 8gb and whant it to be fast becouse i usally run servers on it like minecraft. Btw the ram was my biggest question here. I whant it to be "futureproof" and i do really easy get more than i need in performance. But like i said. Please tell my why i should use a ssd becouse i dont see the overall use in it. And then show me a good kinda cheap one. If the performance boost is big enough you could change ram and something other. The gpu cpu and motherboard is a must tho. I really whant that. BUT the psu is a other thing im not sure about. I whant it to be partially modular. Like the 16 pin motherboard connector and the cpu/pci-e (not sure) power really dont need to be modular.

NOTE! This dont include cd reader and soundcard becouse i already have it on some other computers. The soundcard: a soundcard from the fijutsu scaleo x old computer. And ive heard old soundcard is better than new becouse of the limitations in the new one. Look at it. My uncle said it was one of the old proffecional soundcard. And in the scaleo x do have two dvd burners and in my new old computer i have one too.

For what my opinion is worth the RAM sisrace buy it in a kit mate I got my G Skill 2400 and leave it at 1866MHz and it runs fine my specs are similar except for the board

Oh yeah am with linne on the SSD mate I have Samsungs but anything pretty much without a Sandforce controller.

I'm happy with my Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD. Also with an OCZ Vertex 3 drive on another system. Sandforce controllers all. (My oldest SSD uses Indilinx.)

Intel uses Sandforce controllers on their Cherryville and Maple Crest series drives. I doubt that most people would steer you away from those.

That said, if I was buying a drive today, I might go for a Samsung 840 or the Corsair Neutron.

MLC SSDs haven't been popular long enough for there to be a lot of information about longevity, but I think they ought to be good for a few year's normal use at least. I expect that they're no more to be feared than spinners. (Those are bad enough to begin with. Spinning drives may be DOA, expire five minutes after the warranty, or work trouble free for 10 years.)

As regards the RAM, I can't comment. My favorite online retailers don't carry the Patriot DDR3-2400, so I can't see what price premium it commands over DDR3-1600.

As for the old sound card, it probably is a PCI card. The Asrock MB has PCI slots in addition to the PCI-E(xpress) ones, so you'd be OK with that. I hope that it has decent Windows 7 drivers, whatever it is.

This is also not expensive to buy ($35 here) and will drive up to 5:1 and 7:1 systems with a great GUI for effects but there again what I like I expect there will always be those who don't.

I'm not really like the guy who cares that much when it comes to sound. I do like listen o music and game with kinda loud sound. But i'm almost always using my speakersystem. (2.1) and its not the like top of the line system its just a 1000kr system. So if i could use the old soundcard it would be nice... Otherwise i will go for the onboard sound and maybe buy a cheap one later

Didnt find this in any of the stores i where going to buy the stuff from. And from us or uk or wherever newegg is the shipping to sweden would be a bit expensive.

No worries mate I just drive a Logitec Z506 5:1 system ($80) from my cards and well I like a bit of luxury with my machines

I ma not talking about super house destroying sound I just cannot stand sub standard sound.

Still your choice mate me I like to do things properly or not at all and after all you are putting in some half decent components and like my granddad used to say why spoilt the boat for half penny's worth of tar??

So a soundcard makes the sub work better and sound better? My sub on the system is.. Eum a bit crazy. Have to have it on 25% and sometimes 50% if i have it higher everyone comes in and whonder what im doing. And then whant me to lower the bass... So when i'm playong like nfs shift my bass gets really annoying. The sound from the speakers even with 25% bass overtakend by bass so it sounds like thounder.

Nah 2x4gb is worth it, i been monitoring my usuage on game and some of the newer games like max payne 3 and sleeping dogs use 4.51gbs of my ram with only steam,xfire and my av loaded in the background. I say it's a good future invesment, pretty sure in the future more and more will apps start taking advantage of memory once apps such as games and such get more resource heavy. I see it happening already and will boom in a couple years for sure.''

The system is good friend, good choices on parts, happy building.

Look mate the get some half decent phones I plug mine into the Logitec for the quality.

Anyway my last word it is your choice and well if you are happy with what you have got then just disregard everything I've said and be happy

The biggest consurn for me is the speed. I need 8gb becouse of the way im using my computer. Im using a lot of minecraft servers that uses like 1-2 gb and then i play like ftb modpack with 5-6gb. Sure you may think ftb is not taking that amount of power that i will have but i play lot of graphics intensive games to. And when i had a mc server om my old computer with 400mhz ddr2 (it said on 3d mark) with 512mb- 1gb ram the server lags out. But with the new laptop im having now with 1600mhz ddr 512mb-1gb ram the server lags a lot less..

A thing now. I dont have win 7-8 in the budget. That means 1000kr extra. Should i change parts to get money for it or should i save up more to be able to buy win 7-8 without changing like gpu? Dont whant to get a non bought win. Feels weird why you do whant that...
