Same sad story.
(ignoring the package itself) Me and my dad have the 'Unlimited' internet option from BT. Technically this is a 100GB limit. (unlimited yeah ? We had them confirm this.) £35/month (with phone)
BT Business Broadband - Terms and conditions - Fair Use Policy
TL;DR: We will restrict your internet if you download 'heavily'. Unstated what heavy is.
You can't use P2P until about 1am til 8am. (through experience)
We will throttle you without telling you. (Say, 8Mbps down to 4Mbps)
We will throttle you after we warn you, that you have breached your limit.
This is understandable, its the foundation of most ISP rules, BUT.
Me and my dad, we have used about 50GB in total, and its may the 26th, yes we monitor our usage closely, and we are being charged for breaching 80GB. (We double checked to see if they meant gigabits.)
We find this impossible, and any information being offered is ambiguous at best, this has happened repeatedly.
We are being charged for usage we did not use.

Stuck in the middle of a terrible contract...
...Any ideas ? Anyone got any experience in the line of ISP's being intolerable tyrants ? Other than that, any opinions ? It would make me feel better knowing there are other people getting screwed.
Other:
The BT homehub is a piece of crap...Alot of games hate it, and has its occasional spack attacks.
When breaching this illusive limit, you will be reduced to 100KB/s, other than that you will be reduced from say 8Mbps to 2Mbps, and let me add, speeds are never what they say they are. (as usual)
Ringing BT results in a (not to be racist) some new Indian guy every god damn time, who read written statements over and over again, thus support is generally useless and disorganised.
I have snooped around the network to look for leaches, non so far. No one but me and my Dad use this internet.
I dont really have alot of experience with internet in England so, any info might help.
