I have an issue with Windows 7 installation !!!
I installed win 7 on my lenovo laptop today and am getting to see the win 7 logo. but after that i get a NDIS.SYS error. i try to do a system restore and start up repair and non of them work. after that i also tried to install vista on it, but it also had a same no boot error and showed that it might be caused due to a hardware. i installed them both using a USB DVD ROM. when i searched in Google for the answers it showed that this occurs due to hardware not being properly detected and installed. Please help me with it.

Hello,

ndis.sys is a Windows networking driver. An error of that might indicate a problem with your network adapter. Look on the front of side of your laptop; see if there is a switch to disable the wireless card. If there is, try turning it off, and see what happens.

If the problem persists after that, try testing the RAM and hard drive.

For RAM, see this guide: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

For hard drive, use the DOS version of SeaTools.
