Issues burning cdr

Ive been trying to burn music onto a cdr via windows media. I have windows 7 . For some reason windows media will go through the cd writing process and pop out the cd but nothing is on it. I put the cd back into my laptop and it tells me its blank. Ive probably burnt the same cd like 5 times on the same disk. Help?

Try a different burning program, like Roxio or Nero and there may be some free one's out there that i'm sure someone will bring up.
