Issues on ECS KT600-A Motherboard

I just did a clean install of Windows 7 RTM on my brother's computer half way during the installation (after "Expanding Files") I got a blue screen saying something about graphic drivers (Sorry don't have the exact message right now) I had "solved" this by loading failsafe defaults from the motherboard bios.
After install I found out that the PC is not reacting to any USB devices plugged in to the computer. Also, if I re-load optimal settings from the bios I get the same bluescreen on booting.

Anyone can help?

1GB DDR400 Ram
6600GT 256MB AGP Graphics card
Realtek 8180 WIFI Card

Hello fencer! Welcome to Windows Seven Forums! We are glad to try to answer your questions. (I just spend some time with a poster from Patra, Greece, which is just a little Northeast of you, at least on the global map. Small world?)

Your ECS KT600 MB is based on VIA chipsets. I have an Asrock MB with a newer VIA chipset and I am finding that it does not support Vista and 7 well.

I would suggest you download the newest drivers you can get,

reset your bios to failsafe, and boot into windows 7. Install all of the current ECS drivers and edit the bios one setting at a time to see where the conflicts are coming from.

Also, remove any USB and PCI cards / devices that are not needed to boot, and return them one by one. If a PCI card causes a conflict, try inserting it in a different PCI slot.

The USB driver from ECS may return your USB function after you install it.
