Issues with recurring meetings not showing on outlook 2010 calendar

I am a desktop support tech and one of my users is having a problem where they will accept an invitation to a recurring meeting and either the meeting will not appear on their calendar or the first meeting will show up as accepted and all the other meetings in the series will be shown as tentative. I have looked high and low on the internet yet have found nothing to help, i am open to any and all suggestions and ideas, or if some one knows what is causing this a solution.

I tried installing the hotfix and it gave me a message saying "There are no products affected by this package installed on this system."

Just a shot in the dark - is there any synchronising with another device?

No there is not, that was actually my first thought because we have had issues with that in the past but this particular user barely knows how to work their email at all, I don't even think they could work a smart phone if they had one.

Could this possibly be the problem? Perhaps some training would be in order?

I would love it if that were the problem but I have seen first hand that they are unable to accept some meetings at all and others simply show up on their calendar marked as tentative. I have made sure that they are not automatically accepting the invites and I even created a test recurring meeting and was able to replicate the problem, I have even gone so far as to check the meetings with MfcMapi and make sure they are not becoming corrupted. I have tried command line switches like /cleanreminders, /cleanfreebusy, and /cleansniff none of them had any effect. We have also in the past had the outlook cache become corrupted so I took them out of cache mode and deleted the cache.

Alright i set up our exchange to run a calendar repair every night, I'm crossing my fingers that this is going to work.

Alright so it seems that one outlook problem has been solved only for another to crop up. It looks like i am having several users who when creating or modifying a recurring meeting will run into an issue where they will have an update sent for every instance of the meeting any suggestions on this one? a little back ground info, I looked into it a little before posting it seems this can be cause by the use of an iphone to accept or send the meeting request but the users insist that that is not the problem, it can also be caused by updating one or more instances of the meeting and then forwarding it to a new person or new group of people. But again i checked the actual records and the meetings were not forwarded any ideas on this one?
