Issues with Remote Desktop

Anyone know of a good tutorial on how to do this? I am trying to connect to my home computer from my work comp, and have yet to figure this out and it is very fustrating.

On Home Comp i did:
- Allowed remote access
- Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop
- Added user "Everyone"
- opened remote desktop

Work Comp i did:
- Tried to connect to my comp, i used IP address and Full Comp name.

I am trying to do this through the Internet just so you know.

i would probably use something other than rdp, but this trick might still work:

doc's suggestion for team viewer is advisable

lol same, but i wanted to finally try and get remote desktop to work lol, i been using teamviewer forever.

is your computer connected to a router then ur modem?

if it is then i suggest using port forwarding on ur router
