I got a lexmark x7350 all-in-one printer. Yeah i know they don't have a compatible driver with windows 7, but when i installed it everything was working just fine (to my surprise),hell it's not even Vista compatible (but it runs fine on an old siemens lap-top). So up until recently it was working fine, and all of a sudden the bidirectional support was deactivated, idk how, but the printing jobs were stacking up and the printer couldn't delete them from the print queue.I reinstalled the driver, but it still says it needs bidirectional support. I can't find the "Ports" tab under printer properties in devices and printers window. Is it in a different place?

Do you have a setup for the Bi-Directional in the BIOS? On old systems that have a Centronics printer port there is a setup for the port operation in the BIOS.

This all sound strange.

Doesn't the x7350 use a USB interface?

The bidirectional settings applied to parallel port (LPT) printers. I've never had to set anything like that on a USB device.
