I'm running Microsoft Windows 7 Beta (Build 7000) x32 bit version.

I downloaded and installed iTunes version 8.1.0.51 using the Microsoft Vista compatibility and I ran the installer as the Administrator.

The install seem to run fine, but everytime I try to launch iTunes, I get the "iTunes has stopped working" dialog box.

Does anyone have an idea how to get iTunes working?

This isn't a solution to your problem, but have you tried Songbird. It is a great player that is similar to itunes.

I have heard that some people have gotten iTunes to work on their systems, but usually it involves a x64 bit system and that's not something I can do at this time. So if anyone has a suggestiont that can get iTunes 8.1.0.52 working on a 32-bit Microsoft Windows 7 Beta, build 7000 system, I would be grateful.
