Sometimes, depending on your connection speed, allowing simultaneous downloads can tax iTunes or your network.
In the "Downloads" window of iTunes, uncheck "Allow simultaneous downloads."
See if that works?

- This machine was given to me when my dad bought a new computer. I keep throwing upgrades at it and it keeps on ticking. Think I've done everything to it that can be done outside a PSU upgrade so I can run an even BETTER GPU.

i tried everything that the page showed and i still got that error, i dont think its my computer because app updates on my iPhone also time out and cancel the download
