Hey,
I just recently got a new iPod Touch 4G and i used to have the iPod Touch 1G.
I have it registered to my email account so i can buy applications/music on the iPod, but now EVERY TIME i buy an app apple sends my an email saying that i bought it even if its free!
This gets very annoying when i have 1-5 emails a day that saying "You bought this app". It didn't do it for my 1G iPod touch but it does it for my 4G.
Is there any way i can disable this?

IIRC, I went through a link in one of the emails, that or I emailed apple directly and said I didn't want to receive emails from them.
