itunes installation interrupted

I'm using Windows 7 Enterprise and trying to install itunes. Towards the end of installation I'm seeing that the installation was interrupted. I've tried several times and get the same result. I had no such problem installing the program when I was using XP Pro on my same computer. Would someone please help?

What version of itunes? 32bit or 64? clean install or upgrade? and any more information you can think of.

Firstly are you running this solo or with other programs in the background, e.g WMP
Second are you upgrading or fresh installing?
Third, Does your Computer have enough Memory space for the install?
