Itunes New Hardwear Detected Sound.

with win7 and other windows based OS's that you have a sound whenever you plug in a new device or reconnect a device (camera,ipod,etc.).
but with the new itunes i updated it seems that my ipod sync every 2 seconds even tho i have the auto sync off and when ever i change a song within the libary it cause my computer to make a "new device" sound
this is a problem because if i am listening to my music loud in my apartment and the song changes i get this loud noise.
i turn off the sound but it not convenient because i am using usb connection and my computer will make a noise when my device disconnects and reconnects which i need to tell me that my computer use wireless stick is not picking up a connection

is anyone else having this problem and is there a way to fix it
