iTunes not showing some artists, when I select music

The printscreen will hopefully describe it.

For example Mark Ronson and Nelly Furtado both don't show up, and the only way I can get it in there is by making a playlist. (This is when I've got my iPod selected, and trying to put music on to it)
I've right clicked>get info>album artist>Mark Ronson but still nothing comes up.

Try going back to the Get Info screen for the songs you want and inputting Mark Ronson as the Artist instead of Album Artist. Let me know if that changes anything.

Nope, still nothing, I tried it with Mark Ronson and Gwen Stefani, but nothing.

All the music metadata like album name, artist, Album artist, cover art , genre etc may be added manually using a music tag editing program like http://download.cnet.com/TagScanner/3000-2141_4-10702609.html

How does that program help? Doesn't iTunes do all of that?

Yes iTunes obviously can do that.... The tag editor program is for manual tag editing, if you want to do so .....

I did a full reinstall and still nothing.
