Every time there is an iTunes update about 2/3rds of the way into installation I get the following message:- "Service 'iPod Service' (iPod Service) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system" with 3 options below, Abort. Retry. Ignore.
Repeatedly clicking ignore eventually lets the install finish. However when I connect my iPod I get a message saying download was not successful try again.
The only way to get updates is to uninstall iTunes completely, restart and install again from the web site.
This is becoming a pain in the backside. Any ideas?
