Java Updates

When Java updates itself, why does it stack one after another each time. What I mean by that is, update 7 is 111MB and then update 8 is 111 MB, and so forth. After 21 of those, that will take up some storage! Why doesn't Java delete the old updates upon installing the new ones?

Before some versions had to be uninstall from "Control Panel" => "Programs & Features", after a new update, therefore you had to manually uninstall those old ones.

Since quite a while now the new ones install, updating olders ones.

You can safely uninstall all previous versions and keep the latest you got installed.

The only things are left in registry, all the entries of previous versions installed.

I will look for it, but I believe I saw a free tool on Majorgeeks.com that removed all older versions of Java.
