Hi,

Sorry If this is in the wrong place, I wasn't too sure where to post it.

I recently found on the internet a fake virus code to type into Notepad. It is called Joke-EjectCD. It is a prank to keep opening and closing your disk drive until you shut down your pc. I thought I would give it a go to see what it was like. After I saved the code on my desktop, I then realised it would't Delete. McAfee is also unable to delete it. Does anyone know how to delete this because I really do not want it on my desktop forever.

It will tell you what's grabbed hold of it.
It's likely mcafee has blocked the file.

If all else fails you should be able to boot safe mode and delete it without trouble.

How to remove Joke-EjectCD

1.)Go to start and type and open CMD
2.)type "del (and the directory)"
3.)Wait a second and it will be deleted
