.jpg pictures into a simple (?) slide show for PP

I apologize if this has been answered but I could not find it.

I'm a school teacher and I want to make an eclipse presentation to include the movie like effect of my eclipse pictures.

I have a series of moon eclipse pictures (.jpg format) that I want to put into a simple slide show format to embed into a single PowerPoint slide.
