JSON is not a valid Win32 application error

I was trying to open a JSON file I choose Notepad but I forgot to uncheck the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" then it became default using Notepad I wanted it to change back how it originally was when it was a Unknown application so through my searching I found out that the shell32.dll was that I change it as a default program but when I open the file that error came. Whenever I go to properties the option Change is not there and selecting "Open with" the option "Always use the..." is locked. What should I do?

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
Computer type: Laptop

I did what the tutorial ask but it's still the same. I'm still getting the error but thanks for your help.

Rather than trying to open it in Windows - just upload it to json-csv.com and convert it to CSV. As long as the data is not sensitive of course.
