Solved jump lists location

Does anyone know where the jump lists are stored? It's got to be in the registry somewhere, but I can't find it.

They're stored in C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations

I don't have that destination. I would assume you would have to un check Hide protected operating system files in Folder Options to see it, but I only have Recent Items, and there's no jumplist list stored in there.

Ok, I know how distracting that can be, I find myself un focuded lately with other things too.

I am not a coder. I am beginning to think that Windows uses a file's extension to ref a prog's AppID to define the menu presented. The files are stored in Recent as always - what the JumpList does is PFM.

I am certainly not spot on.

You don't.

What you can do -
Drag an individual document to it's default program icon and drop it there. To remove it, right click and choose Unpin.

I use this feature heavily. Works great for Websites and folders.

Here's the goods.

I found this gem here on the Seven Forums. Its a bat file that clears your jump lists. It worked great for me. It uses the previously mentioned location and one other location but a simple inspection of the folder doesn't produce the stated location but it worked???
