I'm currently making an app which lets you launch custom files/programs through a Jumplist.
The icons are saved in the apps folder.
After changing the icon (not the filename) and rebuilding another Jumplist the icon stayed the same.
It drove me nuts, b/c I couldn't figure out what the problem was.
Then I came up with the idea to clear the icon cache by changing my color depth to 32bit and then back to 16bit.
It worked!
Is there a way to avoid the icon-cache besides using new filenames everytime I update the Jumplist?
