"Jumpy" screen

When using Quicken DeLuxe (usually) or Word Perfect 3x (sometimes) and Gmail (occassionally), the screen is really jumpy. Selecting from the top menus is nearly impossible. I have attempted to run Quicken from the command prompt and that seems to work but I'd really like to find a way to run it from a normal boot process.
I run Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit.

Not recently but the jumpyness was existing before I changed.

Well I suppose the best place to start is by checking your drivers. I don't know if I want to put you through making a repair disc and restore point just so you can use driver verifier though. Let me message one of the senior members for input for you.
