Improvements and fixes

This non-security update includes improvements and fixes that were a part of Monthly Rollup KB4022719 (released June 13, 2017) and also includes these new quality improvements as a preview of the next Monthly Rollup update:

• Addressed issue where users who are sharing their screen with external or internal customers see a blue screen on the display. This is caused by a Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) violation.
• Addressed issue where, after installing KB3177725, an Active X control stops working.
• Addressed an issue where Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge printing from a frame may result in 404 not found or blank page printed.
• Addressed issue to update time zone information.
• Addressed a reliability issue in Windows Search.
• Addressed issue where CRM UI may hang when pressing the reply button in mail workflow.

Known issues in this update

Microsoft is not currently aware of any issues with this update.

Kb4022168

This windows optional up date has an issue with all monitors that are HDMI
When you install it upon reboot you will see the normal startup and then you have a blank
black Screen. I saw on Google that there were many other folks with this issue
only resolution I could to is force safe mode to the restore point windows update made
So far I have seen any solution except to not install this optional update since it most likely
does corrupt your driver for our Monitor.
It installed fine on my windows laptop sine I do not use HDMI on it
anybody have the same issue or solution?

It's generally recommended that optional Preview updates are not installed unless you have a test environment in which to install them. They are not intended for regular use and most users should therefore wait until the final updates are released rather than pressing ahead with the untested preview ones.

If a preview update is stated to fix a specific problem encountered with a previous update then it's a moot point whether it's best to install the preview update or simply to uninstall the problem update until a properly tested fix is released as part of the next main updates.
