yes its fast enough but,how much ram do you have? sorry should have read your lappy's specs

I have 2 Gigs it's running 32-bit but the sticker says AMD athlon X2 64 so is it a 64 bit

yes you are right it is 64bit so you could add more ram and swap over to the 64bit version of the os
