Solved Just did a clean install of W7-Pro-64. What Browser can I use with it

QUESTION!

Why, when I click on the Link, I'm presented with yet another opportunity to Download.
When I click on it, NOTHING happens?

I installed the "download".
It appeared to do it.
I then did a restart.
Unfortunately, nothing improved, just the same old symptoms.
Let's call it a day as things seem to be getting personal.

Mike, just download Firefox ESR from another computer, save it to a USB, then run the installer. After you get FF working, go to Legacy Update: Legacy Update: Get back online, activate, and install updates on your legacy Windows PC. Install it and tun it. It will install necessary updates to get Windows Update working again. Then you can run WU, or Simplix, to get updated to EOL. If you have Antivirus that works on W7, like Avast, install that. Even the free version of Avast is very good. Try the Microsoft phone method to authorize.
