Solved Just Plain Google

Is there a way I can down just plain old Google rather than Google chrome please? I had it on my machine bud did a down load from Adobe who took it off, rotters....

Not really sure what you're asking. Google Chrome is a browser that let's you access the internet. Its basic function is just like any other browser (internet explorer, firefox, opera, safari, etc.) Google (which is what I think you mean by "plain old google") is a web search engine that lets you find other sites on the web based on keyword searches.

You can access Google at any time by going to google.com or you can make it your default home page. Every browser lets you decide what page appears whenever you open your browser. For example, if you are using internet explorer, click the gear icon in the upper right corner and then click on internet options (see first screenshot.) A new screen opens and on the "general" tab you can specify what you want as your home page.

(In the second screenshot you will see that I want a blank home page. You could replace "about:blank" with google.com simply by going to google.com, clicking the gear icon > internet options > then clicking the "use current" button.)
