Just wanted some opinions on this router setup and if its possible.

Trying to figure how to do this correctly is a little confusing. I am still thinking on how to do this.

See I have rented wifi router with modem combo & I now have a wifi router only. I know I can hookup up the Ethernet cable to wifi only router and it will work. Already tried that.

Here is my setup
Modem, & wifi router combo to computer using Ethernet cable.
Printer to Wifi only router using WPA2

Now here is the interesting idea I have, don't know if it will work. All security would be set using WPA2

If I enable wifi on Modem, wif & router combo. Could I setup the Wifi only router to receive the internet from wifi on Modem, & router combo?

The internet wireless signal would go from my combo router/modem then to wifi only router then to the computer. I don't really know how secure this would be since it would be an extra wireless connection even though they all have WPA2.

Aside from the above,
When I hooked up the Ethernet cable to my linksys e1200 it lost the ipv6 connection, very strange.

Edit,
Doesn't work unless someone can suggest another idea. I don't know if bridging will work or not. I really don't understand bridging a modem.

Also during my testing, I notice the computer windows will only connect to one wireless connection at a time. However, you can have an Ethernet connection & wireless connection at the same time very odd.

I have done a clean install of Windows 7 using Dell re-installation disk (Dell sent me one). I also use Free Macrium reflect backup and restore.
Bridging a modem is simple, it's like telling someone "Give this thing ONLY TO HIM so he can give it to the others". In computer terms, it means configuring the modem to only allow connections to routers and all you need to do is just plug in your router into the main modem and go in the main modem's settings to enable bridge mode. Wi-Fi will still work in the main router.

If you enable route mode in the main modem, the main modem will not ALLOW connections to the router but only to the computer devices that are connected to it's own LAN port and to the wireless devices (only if your main modem has Wi-Fi capability.
