Hello to all,

I scanned a flash stick memory. It had about 1.400 threats. KIS 2013 could find them but it couldn't neutralize any of them. I removed the flash from the PC and on some else PC I re-scanned the flash by MSE anti-malware. It found 3 threats and removed them.

After that, I re-attached the flash to the first PC (running KIS anti-malware) and scanned the flash by that, once again. KIS 2013 found no threats this time. The flash is clean now but KIS shows a malware threat sign on its main page. I went for cleaning those threads from it but nor eliminating neither ignoring work! (it's as the following picture)

How to clean the KIS from those prior threats please?

Hi:

Have you tried to empty your recycle bin and then reboot the system?

Having said that, the detections MIGHT be false positives because your KIS is many years out of date.

Your screen shot shows you are running KIS 2013.
This OLD, OLD version is entirely dead (receiving neither support nor patches nor database updates for several years).
The current version is 2017.
If you have a valid, paid license, you may upgrade to the current version for free.
Instructions for "best practice" -- including a CLEAN upgrade that removes the outdated version first -- are HERE.

Hope this helps,
MM

I thank you for your talks.
Please note my KIS is up to date. I also emptied the recycle bin and rebooted my win 7 machine. No changes! :(

The following images are 1- my KIS's first page 2- The page that stands up when I click on "Threat malware".

If there is no way to get rid of the issue, I will immigrate to 2017 version.

Alas, 2013 stopped getting even database updates in Feb 2016:

http://support.kaspersky.com/support/support_table#home

I suggest upgrading.
But you may have to contact KL.
A license for 2013 will only work for 2014, 2015 or 2016.
It will not work for 2017.

MM

Edit: Added screen cap (I originally posted this reply from my mobile phone).;)
