Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Regions and Language\Keyboards and Language\Change Keyboards, what is the language set to? If not what you want, use the drop-down menu and change it.

Yeah I tried all of that. I just went out and bought a new wired kb and it is working perfectly now. So I think that it was just my old kb's time. I had had it for five years or so of heaving WoW use...so it was just worn out I guess. Plus I could barely see the letters anymore and I'd taken it apart to wash it and reassembled it numerous times. It's going to the graveyard.

Thanks a lot for everyone's thoughts though. I really appreciate it that you guys took time out of your day to try and help me.

Ahh, in post 6 and 7 I thought you meant the wired KB was good.

Anyhoo, glad you have it fixed!:)

Well I had thought it was since I had used it so long w/o issue. Then I hooked it up to my laptop and went "uh oh". Was nothing fancy just the basic $20 jobs you see around. Basic, durable and cheap, like me.

I figured that nothing else seems to be working so it must be a hardware issue. Lo and behold, like was suggested earlier in this thread....
