KB2506014 update failed

Hi
Im using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

Windows update has been installing updates successfully everytime but this it isnt being able to install this particular update
'Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2506014)'
I have even tried it manually but installation fails every time
The error code is 80073712
Update type is Important

Should I just leave it or is there anyway to fix this problem ?

I've been using the same system and I've spent hours trying to figure this out and I've done everything from creating a repair disc and using a command prompt - none has worked and I'm beginning to believe there isn't a solution for this.

Found what the solution is. Just do an upgrade from your installation CD - it takes about two hours and then you have to go through over 70 updates but it works - my system is in tip top condition.
