This seems to be the patch for the patch KB2823324?
I just booted up my main production box & was informed that this new, out-of-band update KB2840149 is available.
This is one of my 3 Win7 rigs, and it still has KB2823324 installed (as I only UNinstalled KB2823324 from one of the 3 (laptop), even though I never had any issues with that particular update on any of my rigs).
According to MS, this seems to relate to the same security hole patched by the previously disastrous KB2823324?

So....
QUESTIONS:

Thanks!

I never had a problem on any of my 3 rigs with KB2823324, & only uninstalled it on one of them.
So....
QUESTIONS:
- Does anyone have experience yet (good or bad) with this new KB2840149?
- Is it only being offered to systems that still have KB2823324 installed (I haven't yet booted the laptop, from which I uninstalled KB2823324, even though it never caused a problem, in order to check on this)
- There is no instruction or prompt to do so, but should one uninstall KB2823324 first?
- Or is it safe to install, regardless of whether KB2823324 is already/still installed?

Thanks!
