Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (MSRT) 5.83 helps remove malicious software from computers running Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008.

Microsoft generally releases MSRT monthly as part of Windows Update or as the standalone tool. Use this tool to find and remove specific prevalent threats and reverse the changes they have made (see covered threats). Hello Brink
I got a notice today that windows "Would install a update at 3:00 9/9/2020" which is 32.4 MB
I thought Win 7 updates where over, and everything released was for 8 and up, in my notice it has no name, no number i can find, no ID period, in a mean world gone crazy, how do i know i should let this thing into my c drive.

Luckily, MSRT is a security app that is kept updated across all Windows platforms, so Windows 7 will still be included for it.
