Hi,
after searching profusely for someone with a legal copy of Windows 7 N edition I'm giving-up.
This is a "charity case" I've taken on and knew better to get involved with, but how do you say "no" to parents?

So now I have to re-install it looks like. I want this over with. What is the absolute easiest way to retain the data and apps from Windows 7 Ultimate N Edition and move it to legit Windows 7 Enterprise copy I have?

As far as I know the only way to do an upgrade is to go from an N to an N. Anything else requires a clean install which means reinstalling programs. From here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/11529/what-is-a-windows-7-n-edition-

I already have an N edition of Windows 7. How can I upgrade to another N edition?
If you want to move up to a different N edition of Windows 7, you should learn more about the Windows 10 upgrade options. If you want to move from an N edition of Windows 7 to a non-N edition of Windows 7, you'll need to buy the non-N edition of Windows 7 you want, and perform a clean installation.
