Keep getting BSOD when computer start

As the title said, almost every time I start my computer up, it was able to get pass the logon screen and into the main Windows where it will BSOD/restart at least three time just like that before it became stable. Once it became stable, I can do anything with it and BSOD never appear.... at least until I shutdown it again and I shut it down everyday to ensure memory got refresh.

What EXACTLY happens? When it boots into Windows main screen (already passed the logon screen), and just when I'm about to wait for all startup programs to ready before I use my computer, BSODs happened. Since then, I've been letting my computer runs continuous for 21 hours and counting and nothing yet to happen. Now I'm just scare, if I shut down it again it will never successfully boot into Windows again.

I also don't think I have install any new software these pass 2 months. In addition, I was not able to create a system image using built-in backup. So whatever, this is it...I'm probably won't be able to get anything back. Just want to mention that the failure beep only beep once when computer start. If any hardware got a problem it would beep like crazy like when my CPU fan failed.

Once it became stable (after all that BSOD/restart), I can easily open 30 tabs on my browser, play game on Steam (Warframe, Neverwinter,...), and doing FaH core all at once. Not the heating issues either when I'm doing all of that stuff above. I check with RealTemp every time I feel kinda hot and the cores never really went past 50C.

I also remembered went into BIOS and press the restore to default or something like that. Never OC'd RAM or GPU, only CPU which I already switched it back to default.

Hi Andy Nguyen.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

1. Click on the Start button
2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
3. Select the “Startup” tab.
4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus and MouseDriver.
5. Apply > OK
6. Accept then restart.

Also uninstall Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 7.

If it makes your RAM smart, it is a pure snake oil.

So I uninstalled ASC 7 as well as disabled all the startup in msconfig except for AV and mouse, and so far so good. Can you give me a few more days to make sure the BSOD will not appear again? Also, is it ok for me to enable my startup back on or should I wait to make sure BSOD will not appear again before I enable the startup?

No, it is not. You dont need to have them in startup. They all are installed in your computer. You can use them anytime from Start > All programs. Why to run them all in the background forever, when it is bad and problematic practice?

About taking time, you are supposed to take it.

After going 2 weeks strong, it finally happened again today. It did the three BSODs again before become stable, not really sure why. I attached a new minidump. I really hope that it was nothing, but that's just a wistful thinking.

Install Service pack 1 and all other windows updates. Otherwise the system will remain vulnerable to threats.

SeaTools is currently in progress right now.

Onto SP1. It's one of my fear and seem like it finally caught up to me. The thing is I can't install SP1 on my computer for some reason. I tried everything, Google about it didn't help much.

What happens when you follow those links about windows updates?

Windows Update definitely can't do SP1 for sure, it show error code 57, which didn't really help much. I tried download SP1 manually and try to install it and run the readiness tool before too and nothing really work. I just downloaded SP1, will try run it again and let you know if any error pop up.

Came from SP1 within 3 sec.
System update readiness tool is currently running and stuck (pic attached below) My bad, I'm gonna let it run for a few hour while I'm gonna try to finish my work.

SURT finished...Tried to run SP1, still same error code in < 3 sec.

** On a side note, Since this is BSOD section, I was thinking of making a new thread in Windows Update section for this particular SP1 problem. What do you think?
