Hello,

In the past 2-3 weeks, my Lenovo ThinkPad has been dropping my internet connection 1-3 times a day, pretty much every day. This isn't happening to any other devices on my network, and it hasn't been a problem before. I didn't install any new hard/software right before the problem started, so what could be causing this, and how can I resolve it?

I think I found the right log. No errors since 10/28, even tho I continue to get dropped. Attached screenclip shows event IDs 8002 AcmConnection & 11002 MsmAssociation. Might be an authentication problem?

You are running 2 different Antivirus programs and you should get rid of one or the other as they can cause issues. Did you buy any new wireless devices sch as a cordless phone as sometimes they can interfere with wireless connections

Hmmm. This computer is only a few months old & AVG is the only A/V product I've installed. I do, however, also run MBAM, but that's not A/V. Can't think of anything else that might behave like A/V. I ran Belarc Advisor & looked through the report for another A/V but didn't see one.

Re new cordless devices, I did recently purchase a Bluetooth speaker that caused a problem when I installed the software. I ended up doing a system restore and let Windows find the proper drivers for it, which resolved the issues I was having. We also recently got a new (Android) Tracfone, but I think I was already getting dropped when we got it. Not sure whether the drops were happening before I got the speaker.

No drops today, but I haven't be on much, either...
