Recently installed Windows 7 Home Premium and the Magnifier keeps poping up everytime I bootup. I did look at the Magnifier so I must have activated something in doing so. Seems to of been a problem in Vista as well only the solution doesn't apply in W7. Still learning the new OS. Thanks.

Hello Jacatone, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You should be able to uncheck the option below in Ease Of Access in the Control Panel to not have it run at startup. Be sure to close Maginfier first though. If this still does not help, then check to see if you have the Magnify.exe file listed in startup programs, and delete the entry if it is.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Microsoft Intellimouse May Be Problem

I was continually having this problem even going through the steps above. I found out that the right side button on the Microsoft Intellimouse is set to start the maginfier by default. I was inadvertently clicking the button when moving the mouse. Remapping the button to another action ended this problem.
