Solved Keep Window 7 in C and Remove XP from D

Hi guys,
Seeking your help. I primarily installed Windows 7 Ultimate in C. And then, XP in D. Now I want to remove XP completely and merge the D partition into C. I've not been able to format D in safe mode.

Thank you all. I got "How to remove XP partition from Dual Boot Windows 7" solved @ http://www.tomshardware.com/answers
However, if your system faces a reboot problem locating the bootmgr file
1. Put your Win7 OEM installation disk into the optical drive and reboot.
2. On the install Windows screen, select Repair Your Computer.
3. Select first option to resolve reboot issues.
4. As the computer reboots, do not touch any keys; Windows should boot normally.
