Keeping Size of Picture in transcription

RE: Windows Seven O/S. I select a picture from my collection. My goal is to post it on Facebook but it's a little small, so I make it bigger on the same screen that I view it on. Then, I send it to Facebook and it reverts to it's original size. How can I maintain the enlarged view and have it end up on Facebook that way?

Please tell us the steps that you take when you:
make it bigger on the same screen that I view it on.

You have to make sure the pixels are really increased.
