I have left my pc only to come back and find it at the reboot screen where I have to select Restart Win manually. It boots up fine, but i get a pop up from windows saying I may have lost data since my pc suffered from a blue screen. When I look in my error logs, I have the same 3 errors back to back. 1st is the critical error: Kernel Power #41, then there is a BugCheck error saying my pc rebooted from bugcheck etc...Last is the WHEA Logger error which says: Fatal hardware error has occurred. Component: AMD Northbridge. Error Source: Machine Check Exception. Type: Hyper Transport Watchdog Timeout Error.

System Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., LTd
OS: Win7 Home prem x64
Motherboard: MSI 790FX-GD70- M# MS-7577
AMD Phenmom(TM) x4 955 processors, 3200 Mhz, 4 cores

Bios: American Megatrends Inc. Version 1.9/SM Bios V. 2.5 11/13/2010
4 GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT 512MB RAM
PSU: Cooler Master's Elite Power 400watts - standard ATX 12V V2.3.
If anyone can offer any advice on starting some processes of elimination that would be great!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hello, and welcome!

I suggest you start out by running Prime95. Here is a guide: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-cpu-stress-test-prime95.html

Remember to watch Speedfan!

Also, do you have a more powerful PSU you can try? I would suggest a 500W one.
