Kernel-Processor-Power Error?

Actually, I have two things I'm wondering about. First is this, it haven't really made any problems to me(I think, unless it's the cause of some of the BSODs I get), but this happens every time I start my computer so I wonder if it's something I can fix?

How can I stop these things from occurring?

Hi,

1) The first error you have described is probably because Intel speedstep is disabled in the bios. Get into your bios settings and make sure speedstep is enabled. Press F10 to save changes and exit. See if that makes the error go away.

2) The second error is about custom dlls being loaded. This is simply non-MS apps using custom dlls. Windows is basically saying it doesnt know whats going on. If you scroll down that error log to "Data name", you can see that the apps loading the custom dlls are Kaspersky and another app associated with "guard.dll" which is most likely Comodo. If you have Kaspersky and Comodo installed on your computer, nothing to worry about since both would be trusted apps.

Here are the dumps. Checking your guide I noticed that I don't have it enabled so that my dumps show BSODs, I fixed that now.
So I'll post dumps of the BSODs if I get them again later!

I'm not exactly an expert, but wouldn't the first error be fixed, if you flashed your motherboard with the newest version?

I just tried enabling this now, it didn't help. I still get this error on start-up.

1) I would suggest that unless you experience shut-downs or other adverse operations, just ignore the error about power features disabled. It may well be that win7 doesnt get along too well with the ACPI management on some motherboards so unless there is a bios update for that board dealing with the ACPI issue, there is nothing to do.

2) I had a look at 3 of the 4 bsods you uploaded. 2 of them were caused by ATIPMDAG.SYS. So you need to update/ reinstall your video drivers. You can also try taking out the card and using only the onboard display.

One bsod was caused by dgxkrnl.sys which is the DirectX graphics kernel system driver. Check what version your card supports. Also try switching to the latest version.

3) Just ignore the kaspersky and Comodo error as I had explained previously.

Back when W7 was in RC2 I used it for really long without any video drivers, I'll try uninstalling them for now and see if that can do anything.
I've already tried re-installing them several times.

About the DirectX, I have 11 now, should I try going down to 9?

This is all I have about the freeze, nothing else in the event viewer, nor any dumps created. Is it possible to assume that it froze because I uninstalled the video card drivers?
Maybe I should just get a new video card? My current is pretty old anyways so it might have seen it's days, ATI Radeon 3580 I think.

Possible. Play around with the video drivers.

Also, check cable and card connections, and RAM and CPU connections, make sure everything is seated snugly. Check your system is adequately ventilated and cooled, blow out any dust. Remove any unnecessary hardware.

In your first post there was a power error. Try disabling power management completely. You can set it to high performance and never turn anything off. Disable hybrid sleep if you have that turned on.

I went to ATI's website now and found that they had newer drivers than I previously had for my graphics card. After having installed them and rebooted I seem to have gotten an error related to it in the event viewer. I'm not sure if this will help much as there is no dump of it, but I'll post it anyways.

Maybe I should just try installing the drivers from the CD I got with the video card instead and see how they work? When my father had this video card I recall him having had troubles with newer drivers too, because it's apparently not running on it's own drivers but on others due to being "3850" or something.

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to bump with this.

I'm currently using a Japanese keyboard on my Swedish computer, when I ran this check it notified me that something is wrong with the drivers for it and that I should update or whatnot. Could this be a reason as to things breaking?
Though, I guess the problems should be appearing more often if that was the case.

It points to your video card drivers, but that could also mean your card itself.

Though in any case, I'll definitely get a new graphics card now and hope all of these freezes and bsods will stop.
