I've been getting BSODs quite frequently lately especially KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. What can I do to remedy this? I had left my laptop on overnight as it was in the middle of burning a movie to disc and when I woke up, I encounterend the KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR BSOD screen. Also, the laptop is about 4 years old.

Hi Stevieb2685,

Please run the DM Log Collector again and upload a new zip, the current uploaded one misses several logs.
You could check if there are

1. 18 .txt,
2. 1 .nfo,
3. 1 or more .dmp,

files present, if this is the case then all logs are present
If there are a few missing, no problem as we can get them manually if required

Axe0, I ran the DM Log Collector again with the same result. No 18.txt, .nfo file, but 080116-31340-01.dmp, 080216-42073-01.dmp and 080416-49561-01.dmp ARE present.

Please open an admin command prompt and copy/paste the following command

systeminfo > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt"&msinfo32 /nfo "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\msinfo32.nfo"&wevtutil qe System /f:text > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\eventlog.txt"&type %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts >> "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\hosts.txt"

This command will create following files on the desktop

• systeminfo.txt,
• msinfo32.nfo,
• eventlog.txt,
• hosts.txt

Please zip them up and upload the zip.

Could it also be a bad HD as the lappy is almost 5 years old? I read that KERNEL_INPAGE_DATA_ERROR BSOD is sometimes caused by that.
