Keyboard buttons dont work

Alright so here it goes, I spilled ranch on my keyboard(a friend did).
This is a laptop keyboard, the keys L N and K didnt work before. So i assume it was a bad keyboard, i order a online keyboard and now this one the keys ZX 1 dont work. So is this a keyboard hardware issue? Did i just get another bad one ? Should i get another keyboard and retry or can something else cause keys to not work

Well, not sure I can help other than to say that like you I would have assumed that the damage was confined entirely to the KB and replacing it should have gone smoothly (Not like you spilled a coke or something that would have leaked al over internally).

Probably the think to do is return the new one as defective and ask for another... If that also doesn't work then it would almost have to be the computer itself...

Did the contamination get anywhere near the KB cable connector?

when i click arrow keys . calculator open function keys are not working properly
