Hey all.

I have a new computer, maybe have had it for a month.
Most of the time, all of a sudden my keyboard stops working without warning what so ever, to get it work again I have to restart the computer, note that the mouse still works most of the time.

If I leave the computer on over the night and when I wake up and check both the keyboard and mouse can stop working.

Sometimes both mouse and keyboard can work without problem for a session.
And when I check on Device Manager there is no error what so ever.

Anyone know what the problem might be? Is my motherboard failing?

My Specs is below under "My System Specs".

If the keyboard and mouse are connected by USB, try unplugging and then plugging them back in again. I have a similar problem with my PC at work, where the USB mouse stops working at random. Simply unplugging and then plugging it back in gets it working again (until the next time, whenever that may be).

Edit: It's frozen on me about 5 or 6 times so far this morning, once whilst writing this reply.

Hey man, yea I did that a few times and it usually works but I read that doing that may fry the motherboard or something.

This night I left the computer on and on the morning both mouse and keyboard was dead, so i tried to unplug and plug in again but nothing happend.. :/

Have a look at this to see if it might apply in your case: http://www.sevenforums.com/1452940-post5.html

Obviously, you will be checking the Keyboards and Mice and other pointing devices categories, but it won't do any harm to check that your Network adapters is also set as shown.

Do you have an alternative keyboard/mouse that you can try?

Offtopic: I'm just curious as to why you state Sweden, yet show a Turkish flag?

Unlikely, but if your alternative keyboard/mouse show the same symptoms then it could be a possibility. One thing you could try is using the suspect keyboard/mouse on a known good system.
