Hi,

I connected a USB keyboard to my laptop and it is not recognized at all.

The normal keyboard works fine but the external USB one doesn't.

Any idea anyone?

(I need this second keyboard for boring-to-tell reasons)

Thanks

Make sure in bios that legacy usb devices are turned on...

Thanks but it was enabled.

I think that I used that keyboard before in this laptop long ago over Windows7 already.

When I connect it it remains all off, no lights or anything. Could it be a drivers problem somehow? The keyboard looks completely new but maybe it's old (for XP or so) and needs drivers.

How could I know?

Thanks again.
